We are looking at locking down access rights to SQL server based on either IP address / Computer name.
We have 5 developers and at present they all have full access to the live environment via SQL server management studio.
I want the developers to be able to log into SQL server using there domain credentials.
The developers need to be able to view SQL server DB's from there PC's but not change add or delete.
To Add change or delete I want them to have to login to another PC with their domain credentials and be able to make the changes from here. Is it possible to limit access rights to SQL Database based on computer name / IP’s?
