SQL Clustering

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone has created any SQL clusters (or Windows Failover Clusters) using shared VMDKs. I am looking at creating something which doesn't rely on physical RDMs to make backup and snapshotting, etc easier to manage. I know you can use virtual RDMs to allow for snapshotting but this method isnt supported across hosts. Has anyone ran this unsupported configuration fine without issues?
