QL Server 2016 Standard - Always On Availability Groups - More than one database

Hello, we are trying to make a high availability cluster using SQL 2016 Standard. We have been planning on using Always On Availability Groups. We have roughly 15 to 20 databases that we are trying to protect.

I understand that AOAG only supports a single database when using the standard version of SQL. But I have read that you can create more than one availability group, each with its own database.

I'd appreciate any feedback on if this is doable and if its advisable. Are there any problems with running 15-20 availability groups? Is there a better way to make this happen?

Thanks
