Edit: Solved. My issue was that I was trying to install the SP2 upgrade file, not SQL2014 WITH SP2. Figured this out when I realized my file sizes were 2 gigs off. Thanks everyone!
Hi everybody, got a bit of a pickle.
Running a virtualized Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter, x64, all updates, all .net Frameworks, etc.
This is what I'm running into. I download the SP2 full release ISO which has the x64 and x86 exes.
- I run the 64 bit exe as Admin (tried logging in as local admin as domain admin), it installs "SQL Server 2014 SP2 Setup", then nothing happens.
- I navigate to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Setup Bootstrap\SQLServer2014\setup.exe and run as admin (as I've seen through dozens of website tutorials, just in case I was missing something)
- It pops up the main Planning/Install/Maintenance/etc. page, I go to Installation then the...
