Good morning. I've a problem with a SQL server 2008 R2 Express database which has a table that does not update it's statistics on an automatic fashion.
We're seeing this problem every few days when our client call and tell us that the invoice application is working too slow or hanging, in that moment we put the "UPDATE STATISTICS 'SALESTABLE'" in a query, execute it and walla! things are working ok again.
We've already checked the database property which says that statistics update automatically and is Enabled.
Another piece of information: there is only one table that has the problem, the other tables are ok... the problem is that this particular table is our sales registry so it's the most important one.
