I have a MS SQL server 2014 instance that we are trying to connect to to do some testing on a database. My developer is doing all his work and testing from his PC, which as the same ODBC settings as the test computers, but for some reason, the test computers get a ODBC connection error. I have done a trace for both test computers, and they both connect via the ODBC test tool successfully. I do get this error:
[IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified (0)
and have no idea what it means...
I have looked at firewalls, OBDC settings, server permissions, DB permissions, DB roles, and I just can't see any problems with how it's configured. We are using Access as the front end for this database and it all works for the dev, but we are getting a 2950 macro error, but were not...
