SQL Server Permisisons where sysadmin role required

Hi

There is an application we use in house that uses Microsoft Access ADP with a SQL 2008 R2 backend. I've recently come across a problem when using Access 2010. I reported it to Microsoft Support, even used a MS Technical Support Incident, but they were no help. I'm hoping someone here can assist.

If using Access 2010, reports are running slowly for most users. But not for all - if a user has the sysadmin role, the reports run quickly. There are only two users with the sysadmin role, I am one of them, so I never noticed the problem with the reports until others told me.

I inherited the existing security set up, and its been a long time since I looked at SQL Security. I do know I don't want to add all users to the sysadmin role.

To be more precise, I don't mind if users have full permissions on this database. But I don't want to give them...
