Today I took a DB offline, detached it, and went to move the files to another location. The weird thing is that they're gone. The DB and logfile are just nowhere to be found.
Would an event log show this? Is there a SQL log somewhere? I don't see anything conclusive in any of the places I've looked. I can see it going to single user mode, and going offline, but that's it.
