New SQL Server 2014 & HP Gen9

We are replacing our SQL server. We have done our research this is where we are at, all resources pulled to get the best bang and proper licensing. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Our current system is a HP DL380 Gen 6, dual xeon, 32GB ram, 300GB SAS drives.

We would like to replace it with a HP DL380 Gen9, E5-2620V3 (6 core, single processor). Our current system has I/O issues when intense processes run. We are looking to go in the SSD option for the server, using HP 300GB 6G Sata VE 2.5 IN SC EV SSD (RAID 10). This will be MS Server 2012 and MS SQL 2014 Standard. We will be purchasing 3 2 core licences as CAL will be a lot more expensive.

Is there anything we are missing that we need to look at? By no means are we experts.
