I am fairly new to SQL Database management and just want to check with the experts here to see if it is ok to back-up the database in the middle of the day. I plan to use the maintenance plan in SQL SMS to do a full backup of my ERP database to a file share in a remote server.
I think this is perfectly fine due to VSS but just want o make sure.
The version of SQL is 2005
