A coworker is telling me he can't update a client to the latest Visual Studio because the client's Visual Studio came with a license for SQL Server 2012 (this seems weird to me as well) and that upgrading will do two things
1. The VS 2013 will not work with the SQL 2012
2. The SSRS reports already made on the old Visual Studio will automatically be upgraded and therefore not work.
Neither of these seem accurate to me (especially the first one) but I do not do a lot in SSRS so can anyone verify this?
