Can you please help me in setting up the best sql on-line backup solution.
Bacgkground
We have 500 schools which use our software.
The software stores data in Sql server database (Some express, some standard and enterprise editions)
database size min 100 mb to max 15 gb
We promised or told them that we will take care of the database backup as a marketing strategy.
The Current Solution
At the moment we have a FTP server and all the databases full backup stores in the FTP server
Problem
Due to the setup or network issues 80% of the the databases don't have proper backups
Possible solutions please ??????
We have a 1 TB FTP Server
What approach should i have to take in order to take full backups
Any ready-made solution or software would be great
Or
Please let me know what are your backup strategies in this situation.
