Hi all,
I just realized that my predecessor installed SQL Express 2012 on our Domain Controller. I have not been able to successfully authenticate to it to see if it is being used and if so, by what.
Are there other options available to see if this is actually being used and if I can just remove it?
The only SQL Service that is running is SQL Server VSS Writer, so I have a feeling it is not used used anything. I would however, like to verify before I nuke the install. If there any additional way to be sure it is not in use by anything?
The reason I want to get rid of it as it is causing issues with our backups.
