Folks,
What would cause a user DB to take roughly 2 hrs to recover from "In Recovery" as shown on MS Sql Server Management Studio?
Machine runs MS SQL Server 2008 R2
user DB size is 68 GB. Recovery Model is set to FULL
Transaction log backup is every 60 mins. Differential is every 4 hrs.
The size of Full Backup file (.bak) is roughly 14GB.
Windows updates were installed and machine's rebooted. Would manually stopping SQL services before rebooting machine prevented the above stuck-in-recovery issue?
